jUploadr - A photo uploader for Linux, Mac and Windows
I've been interested in the idea of a universal photo uploader for some time. It seems like every desktop photo manager (Picasa, PhotoAlbum, etc.) support uploading to a few major sites, but not always the sites that I want to upload too. Google's Picasa is the organizer that I regularly use now and to upload pictures to multiply.com or flickr.com, I select the files and then export them into another folder. Then I use another application or the web to upload the files.
This is too much work and no I don't want to put all my photos on Picasweb. I really want one desktop photo manager that can work seamlessly with all online photo sites--upload and download. Is this too much to ask?
I'll try jUploadr and hope they add more sites, but I'm afraid the sites will start changing their upload methods to "lock" people in.
